Play in a Pod is a brand new community resource that aids frequent and quality play. The pod takes the form of a secure container, from converted shipping units to wheelie bins and sheds! All our resources are scrap materials. The pod is a mini enterprise whether it be in a school or wider community setting. By writing to local businesses and stores groups can obtain all kinds of wierd and wonderful materials for children to play with and in fitting with our enterprise ethos children are encourages to write off for and source materials themselves (using our handy templates of course)!

With our activity and play cards children will be more active and engaged. Our activies have all been designed with Sidlaw-view Primary, our pilot school, to enhance outdoor learing and the Curriculum for Excellence. Our play cards extend the legacy of free play and encourage learining through play in the home setting, value family time and can help save a small fortune! All pod members form a community where resource and idea sharing is encouraged.
